Hi I'm Melinda

I'm an avid reader, a wife, a mother of five, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to my wonderful husband and a mother of 5. I have one daughter followed by four boys, one of my boys was stillborn. I love baking, reading, camping and boating with my family, and talking with my sisters and my mom. After graduating from college I started my dream job of software engineer. I worked in that field for 5 years, quitting shortly after the birth of my daughter. Now I devote my time to raising my children, volunteering at their schools, driving them to sports and activities, and trying to be the best mom I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by parents who loved Jesus Christ and taught me to love Him as well. I gained my own testimony of the church as I grew and I have come to rely on Jesus Christ as my Savior and my Redeemer. I am grateful to have the knowledge of my Heavenly Father's plan and what my purpose is here on Earth. I know my Savior loves me and wants me to return to live with Him again. Through the Holy Ghost and reading the scriptures I receive guidance for my everyday life. My family is second only to my Savior in importance in my life and I want to live with them for eternity. I am grateful for temple blessings that make that possible.

How I live my faith

Each day I strive to end the day closer to my Savior then when I started. I listen to the Holy Ghost and seek for direction in my life. I try to teach my children to love the Savior, to feel His spirit, and to love and serve others. At church I work with children under the age of 12. I try to teach them to love the Lord and keep His commandments.
