Hi I'm JaNeanne Dazley

I'm a Mormon. I have a rich legacy of Mormon pioneers in my family line and I hold my heritage near to my heart.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother, active in the community, active in the LDS church, I am a Christian. I love fine art, food, traveling, pop culture, teaching music, serving in the LDS church and community. I love pioneer history.

Why I am a Mormon

Those that came before me sacrificed their lives, their worldly possessions, all the comforts to bring the gospel forward. Now I enjoy the benefits of their great sacrifice. They willingly gave up so much because they had a firm belief in the the gospel. I too have a firm belief in the gospel. I have never doubted the Book of Mormon. I marvel at it. I have never doubted that Joseph Smith talked with God, the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because it is a constant in my life.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my community and church. I love to serve. I've recently served for 15 years with the Days of 47, an organization that works to preserve Utah's pioneer heritage. Six of those years were spent as an adviser to the Days of 47 Royalty. These choice young ladies give up a summer of their lives to serve in the community (and of course be in a parade or two.) I've been fortunate and have been given opportunities to serve my local school and community through teaching music and being involved with PTA. I have had the opportunity to generate friendships with people from all walks of life and because of this. I value my experiences through community service and outreach programs. They have enriched my life. I've also give my time to the youth of my area as an adviser in our youth organization. I learn so much from these outstanding young people and it strengthens me and gives me great hope for the future. Mostly, I love to serve my family. They are the most important to me.
