Hi I'm Gary

I love extreme sports and fitness, I like eating cookie brownies, I serve as a full-time missionary in Nebraska and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run, hike, mountain bike, ride my quad, go to the lake, ski, camp, and do just about everything else you can do in the outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my dad who retired when I was nine. We do just about everything together. I was born in Alaska and lived there until my dad retired, then we moved to Southern Utah to a town called Parowan. I love sports and I love to compete, but I make sure to keep fun as my number one priority. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Omaha, Nebraska and loving everything except the humidity!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a young child, I was taught to follow the prophet and to be obedient to his counsel. I did many of the things that young LDS men should do. A few years ago, I decided to be obedient because I desired to do it based on my own choice. I continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ, as restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith, because of the feeling and impressions I've had as I have felt the promptings of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time representative for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Nebraska Omaha Mission. I am able to help others learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ and become converted to his Gospel. Beyond my missionary service, I live my faith by attending church services, praying to Heavenly Father, and reading from the scriptures. Moreover, I try to look for opportunities to help other people and influence others to recognize the benefits the gospel of Jesus Christ offers.
