Hi I'm Sara Flores

I'm a nurse and a wife to my sweetheart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a nurse working on the maternal/newborn unit and it's so far the best nursing job I've had yet! I have been married for almost eight years now to the love of my life, whom I met in Germany in the 5th grade and had a crush on ever since! We were married in the Portland, Oregon LDS temple and hope to be able to return to the pacific northwest to make a permanent home there. In the meantime we are enjoying the company of my sister and her family here in the sweltering heat of Arizona while my hubby finishes school at the U of A. We enjoy our German Shepherd and spending time with family and friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it feels good. That is the most honest and immediate feeling I have when approached with this question. It feels good to know where I came from and why I am here. It feels good to know that my family is forever and that I can be saved through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It feels good to serve and love those around me, and it feels good when I feel the spirit touch my heart in a moment that confirms the truthfulness of what the prophet or scriptures tell me. I love being a Mormon because it makes me happy... and that just feels good!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday in the things I do and the decisions I make, by choosing to be kind and patient instead of rude and frustrated for instance. I try to live it moment by moment, day by day, when I am confronted with all the choices this world has to offer. I also serve in my church as the Music Chairman, directing and coordinating the music each Sunday. Music can open our hearts to be touched by the spirit and open our understanding to truths the hymns are testifying of.
