Hi I'm Gerry

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the Reno Tahoe area, have lived in Utah , Chicago Illinois and South America. I am a Dentist .

About Me

I am a father of 5 which is my greatest joy in life . My wife and I have been married for 25 years and it has been a great adventure for us. Each of our children have come to our family in unique ways and we have seen our loving Hravenly Father orchestrate tender mercies and blessings to create our family. Family for us is a safe haven from the world where we can all be strengthened , loved, and grow with out fear or ridicule allowing us to become the best we can become. We are the masters and creators of our future and destiny. We love to ski, hike, wake board and bike together as well as create family adventures. Each of my kids are unique and different. Their gifts and talents have given me a richness in life that money can't buy. I can't imagine how empty my life would be without them .

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in God the father and is son Jesus Christ. I know that tue happiness in this life can only come to me by learning to follow the example of our savior Jesus Christ. Learning and trying daily to be more like him in the way I associate with my fellow man. I am becoming a better person as I try each day to live and pattern my life after the example set by Jesus. I love my wife and children and know as well that we are a happier family as we try together to follow the commandments and Gods laws. I want to have a family that lasts eternally, forever, and know that the teachings found in the Mormon religion are undeniably true. I have prayed on my own to have a personal answer to the truth of these gosple principles and teachings.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings every Sunday to take the sacrament and re commit to obey Gods commandments and to follow the example of my older brother Jesus Christ. I am allowed to repent of any wrong doings and move forward in an effort to become more like my heavenly Father. I try to do acts of service and kindness to other people and have found that by doing this consistently I am happier and am gradually becoming a better human being. I love other people and am looking for the good in others. Even in a world with so many difficult things happening I see the miracles that happen through Gods hands. I believe that daily prayer brings me closer to God. I know that as I study the Holy Bible and other scripture I am drawn to want to be a better person. Living my faith is easy because it's who I am not just a once a week meeting. I have church callings that allow me to grow and serve others and as I do this my life has become more full and rich in a way that nothing else monitary can provide. Knowing that I am a child of a loving God who cares and answers my prayers gives me daily peace and strength.
