Hi I'm Julie!

I'm from B.C. Canada, I love amusement parks and I'm a mormon!

About Me

My names Julie. I have a Canadian mother and a Peruvian father. I have one brother, two sisters and a little niece. Family is important to me. I lived in Peru for just about 6 months so I speak english and spanish. I am currently going to University full time. I love rugby, soccer and volleyball!! Can't go wrong with sports! I'm Canadian, love watching hockey, and am a total Canucks fan! I love music, boating and the outdoors. Oh and travelling!! I absolutely LOVE amusement parks and the thril of roller coasters. I try my best to stay positive at all times. It makes life better that way. Smile smile smile and keep smiling is my number one cure for everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I know that President Monson is our true prophet and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are guiding him in everything. I believe the Book of Mormon is true, I know It's true because I've recieved that confirmation by praying about it. You can have one of the best feelings in the world from reading and praying about the scriptures and I know that as we read them and follow the commandments and strive our best to be as Christ we are making our steps closer to being with him again.

How I live my faith

Right now i'm a ward missionary in the branch that i'm in and I absolutely LOVE it! It's so fun to be apart of the lessons the elders teach and to testify of the truthfulness of the gospel. To watch investigators progress and see that new light and peace the gospel is bringing to their lives is an amazing thing to witness. It strengthens my own testimony. To be able to help others find the gospel and to start enjoying that happiness that the gospel brings to our lives, is an undescribable rewarding, awesome feeling.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

It pretty much comes down to prayer. While you read the scriptures and learn about the church you can pray to Heavenly Father and ask for yourself if what you are reading and learning is true. You will probably already be able to feel the peace, love and comfort and happiness that comes from reading the scriptures, Which is the Holy Ghost testifying to you that it's true.
