Hi I'm Joel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mormon father of a son and two daughters living for the past 18+ years in Colorado. My wife and I have been married for over 22 years. Besides giving service to people living in my area and especially the young men and women of my town, I enjoy the outdoors immensely. Fishing, backpacking and camping are at the top of my favorite hobbies. I also love to play and watch basketball, volleyball and tennis.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it is Christ's church restored in these the latter days. The authority of the Priesthood has been restored after a long absence from the earth following the Apostles ministry. We now have God's authority and the continuing revelation to help us be the best citizens we can be and try to always be as Christlike as we can be in our interactions with our fellowmen.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is a lot more than just going to church once in a while. We believe that in order to receive God's greatest blessings, we must do much more than simply accept Christ as our Savior and be baptized. We must endure faithfully to the end. We must do the things that we've seen our Lord and Savior do when He walked the earth. We must do all we can do to resist the Adversary and choose the right during our walks in life. This is a gospel of action and of doing good to all mankind. All of us are imperfect and constantly are in need of repentance and the Lord's forgiveness. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, we can all be saved from our sins if we have faith and demonstrate our faithfulness through our Christlike actions.
