Hi I'm Amy

I served an LDS mission in Hawaii. I've been married for 19 years to my High School sweetheart and we have 4 wonderful children.

About Me

I've lived in Murray, Utah pretty much my entire life. I married my best friend, my wonderful husband of 19 yrs and we have 4 amazing children, who keep up very busy and entertained daily. We love to go to our childrens performances, music recitals, and games. We are not a perfect family, but we have a lot of fun together. We love traveling, skiing, water sports, hiking, and just hanging out together with our kids. It doesn't really matter where we go, or what we do, I love being with my family. I am a Cosmotologist. I love to read, and be outdoors. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and dear friends. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to be a Momon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed in my life, to have been raised and taught the gospel, by a very loving Father, who had so many trials in his life and yet remained so faithful to the Lord and his gospel until the end of his life. I know that God has a plan for each one of us here on Earth, and the "central figure" in his plan is our Savior Jesus Christ. By living rightiously and being faithful to his gospel teachings, our Savior will lead us back home to our Heavenly Father to be together with our families for Eternity. I know God lives. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for my sins, and each one of our sins, through His atoning sacrafice in the Garden of Gethsemene. I know that He is my personal Savior and Redeemer. I know that we have been sent here to earth to learn and grow to become more like our Lord and that if we strive to follow him and do our best, he will never leave us alone. I'm so grateful for the power of prayer. I know that God hears and answers my prayers, I know we are given trials, challenges and adversity in our lives to make us stronger, What a comfort it is to know that Heavenly Father loves each of us unconditionally and if we are faithful to him, he will never give us more trials than we can handle. I know that He knows each one of us individually, and He can help us overcome and endure any trial or hardship no matter how unbearable it may seem. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that our prophet Pres Thomas S. Monson is Gods prophet today and that he is the Lords mouth piece. I know that Pres Monson recieves modern day revelation to lead and guide us in raising and protecting our families. I'm so grateful to know that If I remain faithful, I can be with my husband and our four wonderful children forever. My testimony of this gospel makes me truly happy, I know without a doubt that it is true and it is the only way to find peace.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have so many faults and imperfections. I'm trying to be the best wife, mother, sister and friend that I can be, but I make many mistakes on a daily basis. I'm so grateful for the hope and peace the gospel brings in my life. I know that because of my Savior, His atoning sacrafice and His unconditional love for me, no matter how many insecurities I have, I know that He will help me, sustain me and never leave me alone as long as I strive to follow him and keep his commandments. I strive to live my faith by daily prayer, scripture study, fulfilling my church callings, serving my family and others. I love the Book of Mormon. I feel so much peace when I study and ponder this book daily. I know it is true and was written for us in our day. I know that it was translated by the prophet Joseph Smith, and that it is "Another testament of Jesus Christ." I have read the Book of Mormon many times, and have received many answers to my prayers, as I have tried to apply it's teaching in my own daily life. I know that it contains the words of Christ. One of my favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon is found in 2nd Nephi 31:20. " Wherefore ye must press forward, with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope and a love of God and all men. Wherefore if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the words of Christ, and endure to the end, thus saith the Father, ye shall have eternal life." I cherish so many of the scriptures in this priceless book. I know it is a gift from God to help us come closer to him and his Son. I find so much joy through serving my family and others. I know that God answers our prayers many times through our service to one another. My prayers have been answered countless times through the special people he has placed in my life. As said in the scriptures, " When we are in the Service of our Fellowmen, we are only in the Service of our God."
