Hi I'm Alexandria Clark

I'm one happy person, and I'm Mormon

About Me

Im Alexandria, but i go by Alex. I come from a split family i have two mom's and two dad's...i have 6 brother's and sister's but only my 2 sisters are biological..but they are all my family and i think of them all as "biological". I was born and raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah, never left. Ive been a lot of different places and this will always feel like home. I grew up on the water, not literally of course. My family has had a boat for as long as i can remember so the lake is a second home for me and my family. I love to drive aimlessly, listening to music. I could watch movies for days on end if it were up to me. Fall is my favorite season i think it makes everything seem wonderful, and utah couldn't be prettier durning fall. I can be a book worm. I love to be with my friends. And yes this may be cliche but i do love to shop! I paint my finger nails a different color everyday. I have over 50 different colors. It's an issue :) I love to run especially when im upset. My family always comes first, don't know where i would be without all them. Im happy pretty much all them time. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS home, both parents active members. So I have known about the church, well forever. I went to church every sunday, girls camp, and everything else you were supposed to do. I wasn't doing it for me though i was doing it for my parents. As i got older i wanted to figure it out for myself but never knew how. And a couple years ago i went through a HUGE trial that tested everything i was, especially my testimony. So one night i had made a decision to pray and search my scriputres (which i couldn't remember the last time i did that) for an answer to the most difficult decision i was going to make. As soon as i had finished my prayer, he had answered this question immediately for me. I think that is when i changed. I am mormon because, it truly is the only thing that makes me feel incredibly happy. When im going through something and i don't think i can go on..god pushes me to do better. I never feel alone knowing that the holy ghost is with me at all times. I am mormon because i know that my family will be together for eternity who wouldn't want that? Im mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true!

How I live my faith

By just a few simple principles. The most basic in our religion. By reading my scriptures and actually listening to what they have to say. Praying as many times as i need too in one day. Going to all my meeting every sunday. Along with going to institute. I may not be a missionary, but i try to teach it whenever i get the opportunity. We do family night every monday. However most of my immidate family is not active anymore. So i try to be an example and instead of pushing it on them all the time. I just do what i should be doing and maybe they will see how happy i am. And they will remember what it was like. Now that i have it in my life i wouldn't have it any other way!! :)
