Hi I'm John Woodfield

I'm a recent graduate of BYU. I love sports, family, and good food. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm about to start a new stage in my life by growing up and getting a job! I just graduated from college in accounting and have accepted a job as an auditor with a public accounting firm. I come from a family of seven kids, and I'm the only boy. I am very active and am passionate about being healthy and happy. In particular, I enjoy basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, and water sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I have two wonderful parents. One Mormon, one not. So being a Mormon for me meant I really needed to know for myself. During my teenage years I really began to desire to know what was right for me and what God had in store. I began studying the scriptures and noticed that as I applied the doctrine that I had read, goodness would come into my life. I gained a personal testimony of the things taught in the scriptures by doing them and in turn seeing the results. This was the starting point for me and my conviction as a Mormon. As I've lived my life, I've had many more experiences that testify to me of the truthfulness of the gospel here on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by each day trying to be a better person. I'm definitely not perfect but I strive to serve in anyway I can. I also try to be an example to others as well as learn from others' example.
