Hi I'm Ron

I am a Husband, Father, & Friend. I love to ride my motorcycle. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon

About Me

I have been a Mormon all my life. I've lived in Salt Lake City, Utah; El Paso, Texas; Davie, Florida; and Denver, Colorado. Where ever I've been, I've always had an instant family because of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is the same every where. The Savior, Jesus Christ, is the biggest part of my life and always will be. I know He lives. He hears and answers my prayers. I've been blessed with two sons. One is on a mission for our Church in another country and the other is headed off to college. I've been blessed with a lovely wife who is my partner and best friend. We enjoy serving others in and out of the church. We know that what it says in the Bible is true: Matthew 25:40 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. I enjoy riding motorcycles with friends and family. Each summer we are one of the many groups of riders on the road. We start everyday with a prayer and a spiritual thought. We get some weird looks, but I feel better when we do this. I know this small devotional brings us closer to each other and to our Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to be ready whenever He needs me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has been a life long process to gain and keep my testimony strong and vibrant. i did not have one big defining moments that told me this church was true. I have had many small yet great experiences that have helped me to continue to build and share my relationship with the Savior. i have also put the promise in the Book of Mormon to the test. Moroni 10:3-5 3Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. 4And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. I know this to be the word of God and it is just another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others in and out of the Church. i find great joy in serving. I've found that when I lose myself in the service of others, my problems seem to go away and/or become not so burdening or big. I also live my faith by reading and learning more of and about the Scriptures (Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price). I know my faith grows when I listen to the words or our living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. As it says in Amos 3:7: Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. We have a prophet on the earth today to lead and guide us in our quest to live with God and Jesus once again. I feel the love of God when I allow Him to direct my life. I know of the joy the gospel has brought to me and my family. I would be ungrateful if I did not share this joy with everyone.
