Hi I'm Erma

I am a wife of almost 48 years, a mother of 7, a grandmother of 13 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My occupation gives me the opportunity to enjoy children each day. I am an infant teacher at a college early childhood center. It is my dream job! I am still going to college and am a senior citizen. My favorite things to do are; ride horses, read and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I always knew I had a Heavenly Father that loved me and that He was there anytime I needed Him. I believe that my conversion was on going as I grew in the gospel. My parents were not always active so I went to church alone. Now that my children are grown I again go alone, but I always feel that I am not alone because I feel the love and companionship of our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I also feel the love of all of my brothers and sisters in the gospel. I know that through my life Heavenly Father has taken my hand and lead my way, through trials. The gospel of Jesus Christ is my anchor in life, I always can count on it to lead me back to Father.

How I live my faith

I have done many things in the church such as teach children, young women, and adult women. I have had the priviledge of organizing activities to help others learn more about the gospel but have found that I always learn more through my service. I have also had the opportunity to work in Scouting. It is a wonderful experience to work along side many people who are interested in the welfare of youth in the community. Heavenly Father has blessed my life with many opportunities to grow, even when I make mistakes, I grow and learn.
