Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a musician, a computer nerd, a lover of the outdoors, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child in a family of seven living in Logan, UT. I have just started school as a Freshman at college, and I will be here until summer when I go on my mission. I enjoy a lot of music, and I play the piano, violin, viola, trombone, a little tuba, and a little bass guitar. I also enjoy doing things on the computer like programming and other geeky things. I like to have fun, but I also enjoy working because it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I love my family and would much rather do things with them then with anyone else. One of the things I love to do, especially with my family, is camping. I love the outdoors, and one of my favorite things to do is to explore.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only completely true church on this earth. I know that the teachings that this church gives can help me to continually grow until I will be able to live with God again. This church gives me so much comfort because I can learn for myself that God is our heavenly father through the power of the holy ghost, and that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins. I also love the unity that is in this church and that there are so many good members that are willing to help and support you. Being a member of this church has given me the opportunity to gain so many friends of many different kinds. I have also had the opportunity to gain skills that will help me in many different areas, including school, work, and when I meet other people. It is really great for me to know that I can receive help from God, my father in heaven, just by praying faithfully, doing things like reading the scriptures, and continuing on with the trust that he will help me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in ways that are both personal and public. The personal things I do are things like praying often, reading the scriptures, attending church to learn and partake of the sacrament regularly, and always trying to become more like God our heavenly father and Jesus Christ by improving myself daily. The public things that I do to live my faith are giving service to others, trying to strengthen my ward and it's members through church callings and helping others, and being an active member to help strengthen my community and other public areas. In short, I live my faith by improving myself and serving others.
