Hi I'm Breanne Horton

I'm just a normal 21 year old girl. Favorite things Family, friends, dance, and the gospel! I love the life that I live!

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life, born and raised. I am the youngest of 3 kids and am extremely close to my family. I could just hang out with my family all the time and be completely happy. They are such good examples to me. My mom calls me her social butterfly. I was always playing with friends or playing sports with friends, or dancing with my friends. I love the life that I live, and wouldn't trade it for anything! I have been very very blessed!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon. I grew up in a very active LDS family, and it became my lifestyle from the day I was born. It was always expected of me to wake up, and go to church! There was no other way for me. But I loved that, and it became my way of life. As I got to college, it became more of a reality to me that this was now more of a decision than ever before. That's when I realized just how strong my testimony was, because it was NEVER a question to whether I should go or not. I love going, and the way I feel when I'm there. I don't know how I would survive without the gospel in my life. As I've grown up, I've realized that it surely is the one constant thing in life. No matter what age you are, no matter where you live, or what's going on in your life....the gospel is always there, and is always the same. I am able to feel so much safety and peace through the gospel because with all the confusion and changes in life, I still know where I am going and just how to get there. There's nothing you can't do with the gospel in your life. I love it, and I know without a doubt that it's true!!

How I live my faith

The way I live my Faith is simple, and not perfect. I try to live my Faith in the way that we are told to live it. We're told of commandments and standards to live because they will help us to more fully reveive His blessings as well as strengthen our testimonies and faith. I'm not even close to being perfect at this, but as long as I try to do my best each day, I can feel that it is right. It's all about feeling to me. When I miss a couple days of reading my scriptures, or I miss church and those things in my life, I feel a difference. Something is missing. But when I am doing what I am asked and really searching for the spirit in my life, I feel such peace and there's no doubt that I am overall a happier person. The feeling I get when I am living the principles of the Gospel brings no doubt to my mind that the Church is true! :)
