Hi I'm Steven.

I'm a student. I really enjoy math. I enjoy playing the piano. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love school. I enjoyed pretty much all of the classes I have taken, but I especially liked math classes, physics, and computer science. I was a member of my schools' math teams for five years. I participated in the Boy Scouts of America for seven years. I love being a member of this church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been going to church since I was born, as both my parents are members; however, I choose to remain a faithful member. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because the Book of Mormon is true. I know this because when I was twelve years old I prayed to my Father in Heaven to know that the book was true and I felt good; I felt the Holy Spirit witness unto me that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.

How I live my faith

I attend three hours of church meetings each Sunday. That may seem like a lot to some, but to me it is time well-spent; during these hours I have the priceless opportunity to feel the Holy Ghost's presence in greater measure, which makes me feel good. Every day I read my personal set of scriptures. More than once each day I pray to my Father in Heaven in the name of Jesus Christ. I strive to honor my parents by being obedient to them. I strive to do all that God commands through His chosen servants, both ancient and modern prophets. I strive to follow the perfect example of Jesus Christ. Now I am working to spread the good news of the gospel to those who have not yet received it.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Steven.
Before we know anything we must first learn it; therefore, in order to come to know our Father in Heaven we must learn of Him. We do this by reading the scriptures, for they testify of Him and His dealings with His children. We pray to Him; He answers all of our prayers, and as we have our own experiences with answered prayers we will come to know that He loves each of us. We also keep God's commandments; as we keep them we will see the blessings that come from doing so, which will help us understand why He gave the commandments in the first place. Show more Show less
