Hi I'm Helen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happily married woman living with my husband in Northern Ireland. I moved to Northern Ireland after meeting my husband abroad and I know it was fate. We were meant to be together. We don't have children at the moment, just a cat that acts like a baby, though we hope for a family one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in January 2010 at the age of 27, I found the church through the internet and initially had lessons online by Missionaries. I was so happy when I found the church, and since then I have grown comfortable in knowing why we are here and what happens when we die. I know that Jesus is My Savior and for that I am truly thankful, he helps me get through each day, whether its been good or bad day. I know that one day I will be able to return to my Heavenly Father, and that is the most comforting thing I know.

How I live my faith

It can be pretty hard to live my faith, especially as my Husband is not a member of the Church, though I know that one day he will be, whether it is in this life or the next, I have faith that we will be together forever. I find comfort in reading the scriptures and I know that I am close to Heavenly Father when I pray.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We only worship Jesus Christ and God, our Heavenly Father. We proclaim Joseph Smith and respect him as he was the one that Heavenly Father chose to restore His Church here on earth along with the priesthood, which is very important as the authority of God is exercised through this. Without Joseph Smith the True Church of Jesus Christ may never have been restored. God has provided a way back to him, in restoring the church. Show more Show less
