Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time college student, attending Perry Technical Institute, studying in the field of Instrumentation and Automation Technology. I am a husband and a father. I really enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and I am car enthusiast.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 14, before that time I had a lot of questions about god, and about religion in general, a group of my friends happened to be lds, as I spent time with them and their families, I noticed that there was something different about them, something that I wanted. When I would go on camping trips with their boy scout troop, I noticed that they would read from the bible and would pray at meals, and have testimony meetings. As I went to church with them i felt the warmth of the members of their congregation make me feel so welcome and like i belonged. As I learned the basics of why my friends and their families were so happy, I wanted that happiness for myself. As the missionaries taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ, i began to understand his important role in my life, I also felt my family who weren't and still aren't member distance themselves from me, though they allowed me to get baptized, they had no interest in my new found religion

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Living my faith is very important to me, because it is What Jesus Christ asks us to do when we choose to follow him.
