Hi I'm Howard

My ancestors were pioneers, there histories are a testimony of the Savior. I know he lived fo us, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my early 60's and a widower. There are 5 daughters in my family that keep me happy and busy. Working as a Process Control Engineer and manager of the IT department. The best part of being busy is my grandchildren. Having a Amature Radio License (Ham Radio) has introduced me to many Ham's around the world. Camping, fishing and just being outdoors brings me great pleasure. Cooking for my family and fellow church members is also one of my hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was borne in a Mormon community and raised with little influnce of other religions. At the age of 19 I became a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. From reading in the book of Mormon the challenge by Moroni the last prophet stated to know one must ask God with faith. I asked and with no bright lights or beings talking to me the feeling felt could only come from the love of the Savior through the Holy Ghost. This was the beginning of a new start in a testimony and by following that feeling I have had many more of the same witnesses that God lives and his plan with the Savior Jesus Christ can make one happy no matter what hapens in mortality.

How I live my faith

Prayer is a big part of my life. Reading the scriptures, listining to the prophets from conference talks has been a guide and example when giving and also recieving council as serving as a church leader in the ward and stake. I try to ponder upon the thoughts each day given to me as I sit quietly and think then act upon those promptings.
