Hi I'm Kent

I'm a husband and a father, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a Colorado native and have always loved the mountains. I am married to wonderful woman who is my best friend and I have 3 children who bring me great joy. I work as an Ophthalmologist treating eye diseases and performing eye surgery. I enjoy skiing, being in the mountains, running (a little), and good food.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to LDS parents. My mother has a long heritage of ancestry in the Church, while my father joined the church in his early 20’s. I have felt the teachings of the church were true for as long as I can remember, but as a teenager I knew I had to find out for myself. I was coming upon the age to serve a mission and knew if I was going to commit 2 years of my life, I needed to know the truth. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed and felt it’s power. I served a mission in the eastern Provinces of Canada (Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick) and while on my mission had some very personal, spritual experiences that helped me know the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. Since my mission, the church has provided a pillar of focus for my life that has provided me great strength.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the Savior’s example. Going to church each week and trying to live the gospel principles helps keep me focused on what’s most important in my life.
