Hi I'm Rick

I am happily married, the father of three, sell Coca-Cola for a living and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 38 and enjoy raising our 3 children with my love and best friend. I was baptized Mormon in 1996 and have only been blessed since. I am a Key Acct Manager for Coca-Cola and have been with them for over 14 years. My family and I love to do things together like dirt bike riding, shopping, watching movies, watching sports and playing ball. We have moved multiple times with my job and have loved the relationships we have created along the way!

Why I am a Mormon

I, like many others out there came to a pretty tough spot in my life. It was 1996 and my life was in a downward spiral. I finally came to the conclusion that there had to be more to life than what I was experiencing. Shortly after I asked the question I was introduced to a couple of missionaries. The way I felt when I was reading out of the Book of Mormon and the Bible while we discussed the subjects was indescribable. I felt as if I could do no wrong at those very moments. I realized then, and when I was asked if I would be baptized that it was the right thing, the only thing to do. Since the day of my baptism my life has been blessed. I was able to marry the love of my life and start a family. I can not imagine nor do I want to imagine what it would be like to raise my family with out the gospel in my life. The world we live in today is a battlefield. The Gospel has been our armor and leads us in the way we need to go. I am so grateful for the trials in my life that lead me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and and for the knowledge I have. I know that we have a living Prophet who speaks to God himself and guides and directs the Lord's church. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that it truely is another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. It didn't take me very long after I was baptized to realize we are not a "Sunday Only" faith. As I progressed early on in the gospel I understood that this is not my religion it is my life. I immediately started to serve in different aspects of the local area. I am currently serving as the Ward Mission Leader in the Rifle 1st Ward. The best part of my assigned role is that I have the opportunity to teach and share my testimony with many. I have held many roles from Scout Master to teaching little ones in the nursery. A very simple concept I have picked up and have been taught is the more I serve the more blessings I receive!
