Hi I'm Trevor

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a beautiful part of the world, close to the beach, rivers and plenty of sunshine. I have been married for 32 years, have four children and 9 grandchildren with 2 more on the way. I love fishing, helping my children and playing with my grandchildren. I work in a private Anglican school as the Operations Manager and enjoy the Christian based environment and standards. I consider myself to be very blessed to live in such a wonderful part of the world.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was 7 years old, consequently I was bought up in the church and became familiar with the teachings and principles of the church of Jesus Christ. Though taught for many years I stopped going to church at the age of 16. After a while I became very lonely and went back to church more for the other teenagers attending. I soon made friends with a young man who introduced me to his girlfriend who I married a couple of years later, my friend didn't mind as he had plenty of girlfriends. My wife was a mormon and soon after getting married encouraged me to go back to church. After some hesitation I did and became converted to the gospel. I am grateful for the opportunity to be sealed to my wife and family for eternity in the Temple of the Lord.

How I live my faith

I currently work in the church as a Stake High Council member supporting the leaders of the local wards in their responsibilities. Over the years I have served as a Bishop, Youth leader and District leader. I enjoy the opportunities to serve others in service projects or anything where I can help. I recently helped the local young women s leader as the chief cook on their annual camp.
