Hi I'm Bridger

I grew up skiing in Idaho. I now live in Texas with not a mountain in sight! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors and playing any kind of sport. Favorites include tennis, ultimate frisbee, golf, running, baseball and softball. Even more fun than playing sports is coaching my kids. What a great experience to help youth develop a passion for sports and encourage a healthy and fit lifestyle. I love the extra time I get to spend with my children. It always brings a smile to my face when I hear one of my former players yell "hi coach!" in the supermarket. I have a 6 year old son who can run circles around me, a beautiful 4 year old daughter, and an entertaining 1 year old little girl that makes our family laugh daily with her bubbly personality. I am a very blessed father and husband to have a wife that loves and cares for our eternal family. We currently live in a community called Eagle Springs in Humble, Texas and enjoy friendly neighbors, warm weather, and Texas BBQ!

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate to be born into a Mormon family. However, I would say I am a Mormon not because I was born a Mormon, but because I have come to know for myself that Christ's church has been restored on the earth. I have seen the fruits that come from the teachings taught in the Mormon church and have asked my Heavenly Father if these things are true. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon was written by prophets of God and that it was brought forth in our day through His hand.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by striving to be the man my Heavenly Father knows that I can be. He has given us the perfect example in Jesus Christ as well as remarkable men and women in the Bible and Book of Mormon that we can pattern our lives after. I look for ways to serve those around me. I know that it is typically not the most entertaining activity I could be doing, but the feeling I get when helping others is much more satisfying. I know that when I serve those around me, I serve God. I am constantly looking for opportunities to teach the Gospel to my children in ways that they can understand. Each Monday night we set aside time to be together as a family. We typically read passages from the life of Christ, play games together and enjoy one another's company. We know that our family can be together forever.
