Hi I'm Caleb Crockett

I'm a student, an avid fantasy reader, a Type 1 Diabetic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 22 years old. I served as a missionary for 2 years in Arizona, speaking Spanish. I grew up loving to play basketball, read, participate in theater, and eat any food I could get my hands on :) Currently I'm a student at BYU studying Business Management. I grew up as a member of this church, however, I too had to find out the truth about this gospel for myself. I have had struggles and ups and downs in my life, but through it all I have found lasting Joy and peace in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I just want to do and be everything that God wants for me and be happy doing it! I have found great internal peace and happiness as I've exercised faith in Jesus Christ, as I have changed my actions to be more in line with His will, and as I have made promises to Him through sacred ordinances or actions. I have seen myself become a greater person, more committed to God and His children. I know that God is real. I know that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the price for our mistakes so that we don't have to feel the permanent consequences of them. I know that this church really is the Church of Jesus Christ and that it is not led by men, but by Christ Himself. He has revealed all things that we need to be saved in God's kingdom. I love God and when all is said and done, all that I care about is my personal relationship with Him. That is why I'm a Mormon. My faith has given me the ability to grow closer to God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the way that I choose to live each day. I choose to live a life free of unnecessary distractions. I choose to live a life free from addiction, dependency, and negative influences. I often ask myself if a choice or activity will bring greater light or darkness in my life. I strive to just be the best I can be so that I can be the best person for others. I know that I become the best I can be as I seek God's guidance and direction in the choices I make and seek to know His will for me in my life. I know that He does want to be part of my life and who I become and I know that He will help me reach all of my goals and one day fulfill my potential to be like Him.
