Hi I'm Huguette

I'm living a wonderful experience as a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I'm a mormon!

About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Huguette, I am 22 years old and I am from France. I live in a little city in the suburb of Paris. My parents are convert. I have two older sisters and a little brother. Actually I am serving a mission in Saint George, Utah, and I LOVE being a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. To have the opportunity to meet different people from all over the world, serve them and help them come closer to Jesus Christ is a wonderful experience! In France, I am a social worker. I always had the desire to help people and bring more happiness into their lives. And this is why I have also decided to go on a mission. The gospel of Jesus Christ is without any doubt the only true way to find joy in this life and eternal happiness in the life to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a family who were members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. Since I was a child I have seen how much the gospel has blessed my family. But growing up, I wanted to know for myself if all I have learned was really true. When I was around 18 years old, I have had different experiences who really helped me understand how much God loves each of us, and how much His gospel and teachings are real. I gained a strong testimony that the chuch was true and that God is guiding His church here on the earth. Everything we learn at church and in the scriptures make so much sense and answer the questions that we sometimes wonder (where do I come from? Why am I here on earth? Where am I going after this life?). I gained a strong testimony that when we rely on Jesus Christ we can find real happiness in this life. I know that He lives and that we are His children.

How I live my faith

Right now, by being a missionary in southern Utah =). But before my mission I was the Young single adult representant in my ward, I organised activities and try to strengthen the friendships between the 18 to 30 years old single adults. I also taught the primary children during a year. I tried to be a good example to the people around me. I really believe that when we understand the gospel and put our trust in God, no matter what we can go through in life, we can always have hope that one day everything will get better. This knowledge and my faith help me to stay positive and make good decisions. I love sharing with my friends the blessings of living the gospel.
