Hi I'm Magdalena

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of an American hero (he is a firefighter). Brad and I have been happily married for 7 years. My life has only been blessed since I have been married. Marriage has been a learning experience for me and I have come to embrace it with open arms, I know now that the second smartest thing I could have done in my life after accepting the gospel of Jesus Christ was to get married in the temple as the Lord would have wanted me to. Even though I have taken the proper steps to follow the Lord's will I can't say life and marriage has been easy but it certainly has been easier. And though we are constantly face with opposition in our life we still get to see great blessings in our lives. One of those blessings came to us in 2006 with the birth of our first little guy. After staying home with my baby for three months for maternity leave I just knew that I wanted to stay home with my children, and I was blessed to know that my sweet husband supported me. I certainly did not miss the office gossip, and truly enjoyed the whisperings of the Spirit in my home. Soon after Little Bradley came along Little Sam and I now enjoy listening to their laughs around the house. But two little boys was not enough so we just recently had our third boy, our sweet Little Carter. He's sweet little spirit has added a new dimension to our life, and has brought so much happiness. The truth is that there is never a dull moment in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I will never forget when I first met the missionaries, I was about10 years old. I remember them talking to us about Jesus Christ and his visit to the ancient America. Coincidently, I had read a something similar about the coming of Christ coming to America in my history class. And though I was well aware of this common knowledge because of my visits to the Mexican Aztec ruins and my heritage there was an immediate connection with the Book of Mormon because of my passion for history. And though at first it may have been only passion for its rich history years later I would come to understand that there isn't anything like the gospel of Jesus Christ in the world. The gospel isn't just history it transcends beyond this mortal sphere and it is part of every aspect of our life if we allow it to be. I know without a doubt that that this is the true restored gospel of Jesus Christ and that we are blessed with a loving Heavenly Father who is well aware of us all the time. I am so grateful to have that knowledge and to keep moving forward in a world where hope is slowly diminishing. I am a Mormon because I know we have a Savior that gives me hope to live life to its fullest.

How I live my faith

I have been very blessed to live the my faith by serving both at home and outside of my home. My task at home of raising three busy boys is endless but I enjoy teaching my children to love one another and to be considerate and kind to others. I have also had the opportunity to work with the youth in our faith and the women of our faith. I have been blessed to witness great transformations and blessings that come to the lives of the youth and the women of our faith when they come in tune with the Lord's will.
