Hi I'm Moriann

Hello there! I am a Texan who values Environmental Science, politic participation, learning new things, oh and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student majoring in Environmental Science. Just like everyone else I often make mistakes, but I do my best and at the end of the day try to find a reason to smile.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised a member of the church, during junior high and high school I decided I wanted to really learn for myself. After learning a lot about other religions, learning more about my own, and spending months praying to fully understand things I had questions about, I felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that I was already in the right place.

How I live my faith

I don't drink alcohol, dress outside the standards members of the church have been advised to follow, and I don't go shopping on Sunday's. I do however, try to understand all people's perspectives, so that I might be able to have a small understanding of how God see's individuals.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is a lot like being a member of any religion or organization at all for that matter. It expands your network of friends and provides a place to turn to in times of need. Sometimes other people don't particularly like what you believe, but for the most part people are just interested to better understand what being a Mormon is all about and they respect that. There are often opportunities to serve fellow members, but everything Mormons are advised or asked to do is their personal decision. Show more Show less
