Hi I'm Meagan

I am a Mormon. A wife and stay-at-home mom.

About Me

I love being with my family. am am grateful I can be at home with my kids. I am a wife to a husband I love. I have been blessed with 3 children; two daughters and one son. My second daughter passed away at 3 days old. She is my little angel. I miss her. I find peace knowing that families are eternal and I can be with her again. My children keep me busy. I am constantly working on a variety of different projects. I enjoy photography and drawing. I like spending time outside, going on walks, playing with my kids. My parents and most of my brothers live nearby; I enjoy spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and I have been taught from a young age the basic principles of the gospel. As I have experienced trials in my life, I have found peace through prayer, reading the scriptures (the Book of Mormon and the Bible), and attending church. I have felt joy through striving to follow Christ and his teachings. I am thankful for families and I am thankful that families can be together for eternity. After my baby daughter passed away, I have realized more what a great blessing it is that I can be with her again. I feel peace knowing that families are eternal. I have come to know for myself that this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is true. I am grateful for Jesus Christ, His example, His teachings, and the atonement of Christ.

How I live my faith

I do activities with a group of young girls ages 8-11. We meet twice each month, on a week day, and do an activity. I work with a couple of other leaders. Together we teach the girls about basic gospel principles and basic life skills. Sometimes we'll make a craft, or do something outdoors with the girls (field games), or do a service. In addition to being an activity leader for young girls, I have women I visit with and share a brief message with each month. I enjoy visiting with them.
