Hi I'm Amberlyn

I'm a full time student, a mother of 6, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother, of six children. I enjoy running with my husband. Now that our children are in school all day, I have returned to school also in order to complete a nursing degree. My first priority has always been our family, and so it gives me a lot of joy to have their support as I continue my education so that I can become a nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child, I loved attending church and reading the scriptures because of the peace I felt when I did those things. When I became a teenager, I had the usual challenges with keeping the Lord's commandments, but I found that as I made special effort to take my commitment to the Lord seriously, I was blessed. I gained a strong testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the importance of going to church and living the Lord's commandments. Each trial I have faced has been made easier to bear as I have looked to the Lord for guidance through prayer and scripture study.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day as I pray individually and with my family, but I also teach a class of young children each Sunday. We discuss faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, prayer, and many other great religious principles. In addition, each month a friend and I visit the homes of a few other women so that we may discuss religious principles and give love and support to one another.
