Hi I'm Briana

I have lived in many places. I play violin, viola, and piano. I plan to perform and teach music some day and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single college student studying Violin Performance. I love music. It is who I am. Even though I have never traveled the world, I can go to anytime and anywhere in the world when I play. I practice as often as I can which is a few hours everyday. I also volunteer at a local junior high with the orchestra. I love helping others develop their talents in music and reach their full potential, whatever that may be.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my entire life. I am a member because it is what I want to be. I have prayed many times, asking if this is the Lord's church upon the Earth today and if this is where I am supposed to be. Without fail, I always get a confirmation that this is His Church. This is where I want to be. I have become a better person because I have tried to live as my Savior would have me live. I love this Gospel. It encourages me to become all that I can be. Even though at times, it is not easy, it is completely worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the simple things I do each and everyday. I study the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father each and every day. I also attend all my church meetings which ends up being at least five hours each week. Through this, I draw nearer to my Savior, Jesus Christ. Another unique way I live my faith is through music. Music contains so much power. I find that my prayers are sometimes answered through music. I am also able to share my testimony with others in this way. Sometimes, words are unable to describe what you are feeling. Music helps me really share what is within my heart with those around me. I love to play the hymns of the Church. Whenever I am feeling down, this is where I go and I am able to find peace.
