Hi I'm Kenny Johnston

I LOVE singing and have fun! I want to be a counselor for people with mental and addiction issues! I also finished my mission!

About Me

I am 22 years old and I am a open book. I love music and singing, that is pretty much my life! I love the water and the mountains that is where I can lose my self and wash away all of my worries from the world. I love writing stories about anything. I was baptized into the church in June 2010 and it was the BEST decision I ever made! I love the gospel and I love my Savior and older brother Jesus Christ and I know that he loves me! Teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me so much joy into my life and seeing people repent and come unto Christ, there's no words to describe the feeling I get when that happens.

Why I am a Mormon

Four years ago I was txting my friend on a Sunday afternoon and she said "Oh I am at church. You are missing out on so much." She invited me to go to church next weekend and I said yes. After that Sunday I started going to Seminary for only a semester and half way through it I started meeting with the missionaries. For 4 months a prayed everyday to ask Heavenly Father if this was true and I got my answer the last day of Seminary. I got baptized on June 19th 2010 and I have loved every second of it. Now I am the Branch Mission Leader of the Young Single Adult Branch in Lakeside Montana. That Night when I got my answer (Through a dream) I asked Heavenly Father if this was the answer. I went back to sleep and I had it again. This happen a few times through the night so I said "OK. OK I get it this is my answer." Ever since then I have come to KNOW that this is the true church on the earth today and I KNOW that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that he restored the fullness of the gospel on the earth today. This I KNOW to be TRUE!

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is through my example. Since I have been a member and especially my mission I have come to know that my example and my attitude reflect my faith in the Savior. I try more and more each day to become like my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. "Be perfect even as I and your Father which is in Heaven are perfect." That is what the Savior taught and that is how I live my faith.

In whom should we have faith?

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Kenny Johnston
If you really want to know if "Mormonism" is TRUE is to ASK God the Eternal Father in the name of Christ if it is true and then to listen or pay close attention to the feelings you get when you read the Book Of Mormon. That is the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit testifying to you that it is true! Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

Kenny Johnston
The Book Of Mormon is another Testament of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us about the Birth, life, ministry,Atonement, death and ressurection of Jesus Christ. The Book Of Mormon teaches us and goes more in depth of the Death and Ressurection and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It outlines the Plan of Salvation for all of his children and it gives a promise that no other book gives us. Read and find out what that promise is. (Moroni 10:3-5) Show more Show less
