Hi I'm Billy

I love Jeep Wranglers, I love dogs, the Summer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and some of my favorite things to do would be: I love to go Skateboarding, I love wake boarding and wave running on the lake. I love working on and fixing cars ( I just recently rebuilt my engine in my jeep wrangler) and also I love to drum! Anything that involves drumming or sticks or beats I love to be there.

Why I am a Mormon

I LOVE being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have never felt so much happiness and understanding about myself as well as all my problems than anything else. The things that being a Mormon has taught me I could not learn anywhere else, I know why I am here on earth and what my purpose is and what I am supposed to do about that. I have never felt so useful in my entire life! Being in the Church teaches me how to over come trials and burdens and then only brings me closer to our Heavenly Father who loves each of us very much. Because he loves us so much he will bless us as we strive to follow him, this is something I feel and see in my life everyday as I do my best to do good. I sure LOVE being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith in everything I do, I am consistently trying to read the scriptures, being the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and do learn as much as I can from them. I pray to our Father in Heaven every morning and night and even during the day when I feel like I could use one. I love to hear the words of our Prophet Thomas S. Monson because he receives revelation for the world and is always leading us to a happier and better life.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Billy
We can increase our faith in Christ by understanding what faith is, faith is acting. This is something I did not fully understand for awhile. Without acting, faith is really just hoping. For example I hope the Book of Mormon is true is a hope but when we put that to the test and have faith and read it to find out if it is true. That is when we start acting in faith and start to understand and get blessings that follow. Faith is not something you just get a hold of and not have to get anymore of it, we are always building our faith as we read the word of the lord, talk with our Father in Heaven through prayer and knowing he will talk back. By listening to the Prophet and using his council, Faith is the most beautiful thing to have and I encourage all to exercise more action and build more faith. Show more Show less
