Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a Young Single Adult in Australia and have recently joined the church. I love my family and friends and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and I work in Insurance and love my job. I am a big outdoors perons, love camping, fishing, hiking n all that stuff. I love my friends and family and love a game of weekend touch footy or cricket. I am the Young Single Adult representative in my Ward and I love going to church. I'm a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a recent convert into the church and was baptised on 19th March 2011...best decision I ever made! Before joining the church I was lost, I had no real direction, I had nothing to look forward to, there was no meaning to my life in all honesty...I felt like I just blended into all the worldy things out there. I then developed a great friendship with a member of the church and asked a few questions about his beliefs. A month or so later he arranged for me to speak with the Missionaries. I will never forget the first time I met with the Missionaries! They asked me questions and about my understanding of the Bible and if I'd heard of the Book of Mormon and what my beliefs were etc, that was all very interesting to me but it was when they asked me to say a closing prayer that my heart was flooded with warmth and wholeness...it was the Holy Ghost. I knew from that moment that everything the Missionaries told me that day and everything they were going to tell me in lessons to come was true. I am now a very happy person who is in control and loving life and it is because of my faith and my standard of living.

How I live my faith

I am the Young Single Adult representative in our Ward which means I arrange activities for single members aged between 18 - 30 in our Ward. Some examples of the activies we hold are social events and service events helping people with no reward. I regularly talk with my non-members friends and family about the Gospel in the hope that they will come to understand my reasons for being a member and maybe one day ask the same questions I have of God about the truthfullness of the church.
