Hi I'm Natascha Faux

I grew up just outside Las Vegas. I teach mathematics. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Henderson, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. I love listening to music, especially the sweet melodies of Frank Sinatra. I also love to play music; I play the piano, flute, and French Horn. I also have this strange, uncanny love of mathematics. I graduated from BYU in 2011 and now teach math at a residential treatment center in Provo, Utah. I teach math to 14-17 year-old students who struggle with drug addiction and other emotional and behavioral problems. I have tons of fun interacting with my students and seeing them not only overcome difficult math problems, but also seemingly impossible personal problems.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into on Mormon family and raised in the Mormon faith. However, my decision to continue practicing my faith is based in more than family tradition. I have learned through my own life experiences that God lives, Christ died for us, and that God speaks through living prophets today. My faith in the the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and Christs's atonement is what has enabled me to overcome trials and experience complete joy when things are going well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by dedicating time each day for scripture study and then actively trying to apply the principles I learn during my study in my life. As I am a single young adult, I am also very active in the Mormon young single adult community. I help plan social activities where young singles have a chance to meet new people and socialize with old friends.

Are Mormons Christians?

Natascha Faux
Are Mormons Christians? My answer is an emphatic yes! We believe in the teachings of Christ. We believe that He was the only perfect man to walk the earth. We believe that it is His atoning sacrifice that gives us hope and saves us all. Through Christ, and only through Him, we can obtain all the blessings of heaven, including eternal life. Christ and His teachings are at the center of our church doctrine. Show more Show less
