Hi I'm Frances "Kim" Roquemore

I'm a Mormon. I'm 75 years old, joined the Church when I was 22. I am so blessed to have the Gospel in me and my family's lives.

About Me

I have 19 grandChildren and 22 greatgrandchildren. I love being a grandma. My hobbies are Genealogy, cooking and studying Archeaology. I like to travel, especially in the USA. I love my country all most as much as I love my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I searched and searched for the Church I wanted to raise my children in. When the Elders came to my door while my husband was overseas, I invited them in and knew almost immediately this was what I was seeking. That was 53 years ago and I have been thankful every day for those missionaries and for the blessing that I recognized truth when presented to me.

How I live my faith

Mormons are not Sunday only Christians. We are very involved in activities and work in the Church. We hold Family home evening on Momdays, I don't any more as My family is grown, where we have lessons and games and refreshments. My kids always liked the refreshments first. We use to have games that involved scriptures. It's been quite a few years sense I did that. Prayer , scripture reading and teaching the Gospel to others has kept my faith strongeven though I live alone.
