Hi I'm Ken Boyle

I'm a Mormon. We prefer to be called a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but Mormon will do for now.

About Me

I am a convert of 17 years and had my 60th birthday in 2011. I have five children ranging in age from 14 to 31 years of age. I am a partner in a Real Estate Company and also do home mortgages, private money brokering of loans, and am a partner in a start-up ammunition company. I don't own a gun, but can market/sell anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church after being married to my wife Rebecca for almost 8 years, as I am an Irish/Texan, so it took me a while to give up the notion that everything in my life was created by me and that I should be in control of my destiny and that God had little or nothing to do with my success. I lost a friend and fellow competitive swimmer in High School to cancer and was mad at God for over 25 years. I now know the true meaning of Heavenly Father's plan and his sacrifice of His Son on our behalf. I finally realized that God wouldn't leave his children on the earth without a Prophet and that Joseph Smith with barely a 4th grade education couldn't have translated the Book of Mormon without divine help and that it could only have happened with God's direct guidance. Everything about the LDS Church is just as it was in Christ's day and there is a First Presidency and Quorum of the 12 Apostles, just as it was when Christ walked the earth and after his death and resurrection.

How I live my faith

By every day trying to be a good example to others around me, member or non member. I try to do the best at serving my fellow man and working hard to fulfill my obligations for any Church calling and my job. I try, but sometimes fail to be a great father/husband to my family, but it is a goal of mine to be better every day. Again, I don't always complete that mission in life.
