Hi I'm Bradley

I was born in Arizona, I grew up in Utah, I currently live in Washington, And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on Mothers Day in Arizona, I was raised in Utah, and right now I am serving a mission in Spokane Washington. I am 19 years old, I come from a family of 7, 1 brother 3 sisters, I was the youngest child until my little brother and sister were adopted and now I am the middle child. I graduated from Fremont High School in Plain City. I attended Weber State University for a year before I came on my mission in Washington Spokane, and not going to lie school most the time isn’t to much fun. I love having fun and laughing to the point that I can’t breath. If something isn’t fun then I make it fun, because why be boring? I love making people laugh, whether it is from a joke or action. I spend allot of my time hunting, fishing, and just in the outdoors camping. I love sports and games I play everything from basketball and golf to rock paper scissors and monopoly. I love spending time with my family and friends, game night? Sign me up! I love fixing things... or at least trying to fix things. I love getting free stuff and deals! But who doesn’t? I love watching movies, probably one of my more favorite things to do. I love quoting movies, and always am.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in this gospel since I can ever remember, and that’s only one of the many reasons why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Because I have been raised in this gospel, a few people have asked me if I had a choice in being a member or not. The answer is YES! Even though I have grown up as a Mormon, I had the same opportunity as everyone does to read the Book of Mormon and learn about how this gospel has been restored through Joseph Smith and then to pray about it, and ask my Heavenly Father if they are true. If I hadn’t received the answer that I did, then I am not sure if I would be a Mormon... But because I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of god, I decided to follow the example of Jesus Christ by being baptized. That’s why I am a Mormon, simply because I know that this gospel is the same gospel that Jesus Christ taught, and his gospel brings me so much TRUE happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, following the Commandments, and being an example for others to follow. One way I am serving others right now is by serving an LDS mission in Spokane Washington. There is a really good scripture that I like from the Book of Mormon, Mosiah 2:17. From that scripture I learned that when I am in the service of my fellow men, I am only in the service of my God. God has provided us with Commandments, but why? Well from personal experience, I know that God has given us Commandments so we can be happy. I know that if I follow them, that they are what will bring me true happiness. Another way I live my faith is by setting an example for others to see and follow, whether it’s my family, friends, or a complete stranger. I try to be the best example that I can be, but I know that I am not perfect and don’t even come close. And as everyone does I make mistakes, but I can be forgiven for those mistakes or bad choices that I have made. One of the great blessings of or Savior’s gospel is that we can repent of our sins through the atoning sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for each one of us. And because Jesus died for the sins of the world, we all have the same chance to be forgiven from our Heavenly Father for the things we have done wrong. I live my faith by taking advantage of the atonement and I repent for my sins so that I can be forgiven, and be happy! That simple.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another witness that Jesus Christ is in fact our savior. It teaches us of his Gospel, and how to gain happiness in this life. I have read the Book of Mormon and it has done exactly that for me. It teaches me that Jesus Christ does live and that through his atonement we can be spiritually healed. The Book of Mormon for me confirms the Holy Bible, and the Holy bible confirms the Book of Mormon. Together they prove and testify over and over that salvation comes through Jesus Christ. Its like two people telling the same story, its easy to believe when two people tell the same story. Well its the same way with the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible! Read it and ask God if it is true, and you will know like many others around this world that it is the word of God. Show more Show less
