Hi I'm Cori

I grew up in Arizona. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife, mother, and grandmother. My husband and I enjoy hiking, walking, biking, and cooking together. I also enjoy reading, sewing, tatting (lace-making), family history, photography and traveling. One of my favorite places to go is Disneyland during the first couple of weeks in December; the park is relatively quiet and decorated so beautifully. I love to learn anything new to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't always known the Church is true even though I was raised with it as a part of my life. But I have come to realize that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace even in the most difficult challenges. When I am worried or hurting or afraid, I know my Saviour has felt those things too. I trust Him to do what's best for me and I can be more patient and submissive to his will. I also recognize that having this knowledge increases the joys that I feel. When something good happens to me or those I love I can see God's hand in our lives and my joy is magnified. I know that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I can live with my family eternally and that, to me, is the greatest blessing of all.

How I live my faith

I try to live each day a little better than the day before. I work to understand Christ's life and teachings so that I can be more like him and follow his example. My greatest treasure is my family, and I believe families can live together eternally, so I work to build and strengthen bonds with my family members. I hope, through example as well as words, to help others know and understand the truth that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real and they truly love us.
