Hi I'm larry

I am a debater, I am a missionary serving in the Connecticut/Massachusetts mission, I am the 7th of 11 children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Omaha Nebraska, moved out to Idaho when I was about seven to eight years old. I am the seventh child of eleven kids. My parents are divorced. I love to serve and help other people but not so quick to help myself as I would rather be helping someone else in need. What else to know about me I grew up in Chubbuck ID went to highland high school took a debate class and loved it. I love to learn, I love to argue. I love my family. I love to be with friends. I was called to serve in the Hartford CT. mission which has since been expanded to be the Boston mass. Mission I love this work, I love to serve and I love to teach.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because my parents were but because when I was eight years old and they began to talk of baptism I was not sure that it was what I wanted so my dad called over the missionary’s. They began to come and to explain the doctrines of the gospel the same thing that I am now out teaching myself. As they taught I began to feel that it was what God wanted me to do. He wanted me to follow his footsteps and be baptized. As a confirmation to that they told me to pray, as I prayed I knew that it was so, that all the missionary’s taught me was true and this was the path I had to take. I was baptized shortly after. Not long after it seems my family began to stop coming or when they did come they came late. So I rather than be late myself began to walk or ride my bike to church every week. I would go early and stay late to talk to the other members as I felt a peace with in the church that I have not been able to really feel much of anywhere else. So in conclusion I am a Mormon because of the great peace and love that I felt for me from the church and from my loving heavenly father. I know this is Gods church here on earth today because I prayed about it and I have received an answer to my prayer.

How I live my faith

i live my faith by serving and helping all that i meet come closer to God. i am a friend to all and do what i can to help lift and strangthen every one i can.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

is it required to serve a mission? no it is not required but it is a great privilidge and a blessing to do so. one that we are all strongly recommended to do and participate in. the peace and the happiness that will come of serving a mission is definitly worth it to all who may read and wonder. to all who wonder why we would come becouse it is a great oppertunity to meet and get to know peaple. as you serve on a mission you learn to love all those that you meet though some will be uninterested in learning it is all a part of a learning process that has gone on for ages.
