Hi I'm Jonathan Ence

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have experienced, as has everyone, many trials in my life. Most of my trials have been private and I have often felt alone, but I know that there is one person who understands me. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ understands the trials that I have been through because he felt my pain. He knows how to treat me because He loved me enough to take upon Himself all of my wrongdoings and my afflictions. I am now 21 years old and am a returned missionary. I served in Cuernavaca, Mexico and loved every minute of my mission. I am now a college student and am majoring in Latin American Studies hoping to return to the people that welcomed me during two years of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the thing that gives me the most strength. I have looked for other sources of strength but the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only thing that could ever give me the strength to live in this mad world. With so much moral perversion going around it is the only thing that keeps me safe. I cannot fully express how I feel about the Atonement but it is what keeps me going.

How I live my faith

I try to do what is right. I try my best to not get offended when people make mistakes or say things to me that might appear as smart as a box of rocks...but many times I fall short. I try very hard to be the best that I can be, but I become disappointed with myself a lot. I learned a short time ago that life is about improving yourself one step at a time and so if through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can be better today than I was yesterday I am heading in the right direction. The journey of life has no quota that everyone meets. Everyone has their individual quota because we grow at different paces. Ask the Lord what He wants you to be like and then strive everyday to be like that knowing that through the Atonement you can be like that someday.

What is the Law of Chastity?

Jonathan Ence
The Law of Chastity is something very sacred that binds a family together. We believe in Eternal Families and that the Family is a very sacred organization. Satan knows this and attacks the Family in many varied ways thus we see a decrease in morality and an increase in sexual perversion and moral decay. I know that the Law of Chastity is a law of happiness. It makes it so that true love isn't just a fairy tale. Show more Show less
