Hi I'm Paul

I'm a father of four. I study how to make society better. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three girls and a son, and fortuante to live in sunny Santa Monica, although I grew up back east near Washington D.C. I did my doctoral studies in Chicago, and I work now at a non-profit think tank studying how to make society better by improving public policy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that there is a God who loves His children, wants us to be happy, and seeks to be involved in our lives. As I have tried to build a relationship with Him and listen to His direction, He has led me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the example of Jesus--serving people who need my help, strengthening those facing hardship, and being there for friends and family.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We do it because we have found great happiness in our own lives through our knowledge of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, and we want to share that happiness with others who are interested. Show more Show less
