Hi I'm Nancy Wilcox

I'm a mother of 5 that just got diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I believe in courage. I believe in Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I own an executive search firm where I recruit people for jobs located domestically and internationally. I play tennis year round, I ride horses and hike whenever possible. I have raised 5 children and have 4 grandchildren that are the love of my life. I have Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and have been doing chemo and radiation for 5 months. I believe "you can't direct the wind, but you can adjust your sails". I have no hair, no eyebrows and only a few eyelashes, but I have faith in the future, a love for my neighbor and I trust in the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Why am I a Mormon? Because I believe that it's the same organization that existed at the time of Jesus Christ. I have found greater joy, greater strength and greater peace as a member of His church.

How I live my faith

Serving in a variety of assignments, I have been responsible for planning and executing activities and Sunday lessons for 175 women, 75 young women, girls camp, early morning bible study and over 200 children ages 18 months to 11 years old. I've worked in the schools where my children have attended in PTSA, elected to the Local School Advisory Committee and volunteered in the Counseling Center. I live my faith by serving others in the community, teaching my children, having family prayer morning and night and spending time together each week, just as a family, to play games or teach from the scriptures.
