Hi I'm Tara

I love my life. I love my family. I love the gospel. I'm really cool. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! My name is Tara. I come from a family of 8 and love spending time with them! We play games a lot, I usually win. I really like bright colors. In high school I painted each wall of my room a different color. I also painted my car bright bubble-gum pink! I love to play sports, racquetball being my favorite. I've recently been learning how to play the guitar. It's a lot of fun! I try to be as happy as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

All growing up I've gone to church and have lived the gospel. It has blessed my life greatly! I find so much joy in studying the scriptures and learning how to become more like Christ. I know that by having these beliefs and living this lifestyle has given me so much peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example to others. I've served as a full-time missionary in the Virginia Richmond Mission. I was able to share my testimony often and teach others about Christ. I am currently on the temple committee in my ward. I get to plan ward temple trips and teach temple prep. I am also a visiting teacher and love serving and getting to know the sisters!

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It was written by prophets clear from 600 B.C. til about 421 A.D. These men were called of God. They were inspired and received revelation. Their words of very uplifting and edifying. Those who read from The Book of Mormon will be strengthened and will grow from its power. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The atonement of Jesus Christ makes it possible for everyone to return to live with God again. There is no other way to receive such happiness. Christ suffered for all of our sins so we can repent and be cleansed from them. We can always change and become who God wants us to be. The atonement gives us hope. Life would be meaningless without it. Show more Show less
