Hi I'm Carrol

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho. I was born in the Covenant to James & Myriel.

About Me

My husband and I have been married "50" years and we have 7 children - 4 daughters - 3 sons (one has passed away), 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. I love beautiful music. My hobby is card making using a Cricut Expression Machine for cut outs and Cuttlebug Emboss machine and ideas that I come up with to individualize the cards. I Love beautiful flowers and all of the beauties, in nature, that Heavenly Father has put on his earth.  I enjoy being with people. I am into the computer especially Facebook and E-mail. I play the piano/organ for my own enjoyment - as I am not an accomplished player. I do conduct music and have held the position of Chorister in the church for many - many years. It is so wonderful to lead and sing the beautiful Hymns of the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. A very choice blessing, to me, is to be an Ordinance Worker in Heavenly Father's Holy Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that my ancestors, on both my mother's and father's side, had accepted the Restored Gospel Of Jesus Christ and came to America to be able to practice this religion. I lived in a predominatly Latter-Day-Saint town. The gospel was and still is my life. Even though I was raised in the gospel the time came for me to know of it's truthfulness, for myself. I received this knowledge through activity in the church, studying the scriptures, prayer, trusting in Heavenly Father to do as the scriptures say he will, knowing that if Jesus Christ lived upon this earth and he was taught by Heavenly Father of his Spiritual duty and called Apostles and Prophets to help him spread his gospel then if his church was on the earth it would have the same organization as Jesus had it when he was here. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day-Saints has all the same organization as it did when Jesus was here and it is being guided through constant revelation to those Apostles and Prophets. With all I had been taught, felt, and knew it was through the Holy Ghost that I received the witness that what I believed was true. I am still learning of and witnessing the "miracles" happening in my life and others and especially the truths and guidance found in the Bible and The Book Of Mormon (Another Testament Of Jesus Christ) of those who lived in those times and recorded their history to help us today. My Testimony of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, my Savior is growing each day. I am so thankful for the knowledge of Heavenly Father's Plan Of Salvation which includes Eternal Families Sealed together for all Eternity in his Holy Temples, here on earth.

How I live my faith

I pray morning and night with my husband and say my personnal prayers every day plus praying when needing guidance, I fast and pray so I can feel closer to Heavenly Father, I talk to Heavenly Father throughout my day, thanking him for what he has done for me, asking for special help in my life. He is my Strength to go through each day. I read my Scriptures each day and the lessons that are taught in our other church meetings I attend. I read the Ensign Magazine that is full of great gospel council and stories of other church members and their lives that I get each month. I share the gospel message with those I come in contact with. I attend church regularly and serve in the church, conducting the music and serving in Heavenly Father's Holy Temple. I care about my neighbors and their needs. I keep the Commandments of our Heavenly Father which includes the Ten Commandments.
