Hi I'm Michael Crowther

I'm a missionary & a servant of our Heavenly Father serving in Alaska. I'm an avid optimist. I love humans. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated both high school and college with my Associate's degree in 2011. I love playing the piano, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. I'm friendly, easygoing, and even-tempered. I'm a people person. I love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I was blessed with parents who, though not perfect, have lived righteously their whole lives. My whole family have been tremendous examples of happy living. With their support & that of many friends & inspired leaders, I have continued to live my faith. The Church has helped me through so many trials. Because I have received Heavenly Father's help & lived the commandments, He has "blessed [me] in all things, both temporal & spiritual" (Mosiah 2:17). I know for myself this Church is true because it has brought me lasting peace & joy.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ & the associated commandments given by Christ Himself & through continuing revelation are in place to give us instruction on how to "[live] after the manner of happiness" (2 Nephi 5:27). Heavenly Father desparately wants us to be happy, but He knows that true happiness comes from our righteous choices. We must use our agency. Because I experimented upon the word & exercised a "particle of faith," (Alma 32:27) I have found immense joy. My soul has been enlarged, my understanding enlightened, & my faith is delicious to me. How do I live my faith? The way it has been prescribed: after the manner of happiness.
