Hi I'm Ranae

I'm a Human Resources Manager, Wife, Mother of six, Grandmother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I raised 6 children with my second husband while working full-time. I finished my masters degree in my late forty's and continued my career in Human Resources. Now with four grandchildren, my youngest son on a mission in Tennessee, my husband and I look forward to spending more time together traveling across country and visiting historic sights. I met my husband at an activity for singles. He was a divorcee as I was. He adopted my two children and then we added four more of our own. Life has not been easy but it certainly has been worth all the struggles, growth, pain and joy.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mormon heritage goes back four generations to the time of Joseph Smith. My ancestors crossed the ocean and crossed the plains to Utah. Nevertheless, I had to find out for myself if this religion was true for me. More numerous times than I can count, the Holy Spirit has borne witness to me that the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith restored the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and Thomas Monson is our Prophet today. My husband's conversion story is another testimony to me that Heavenly Father cares for and loves all his children on the earth and His Gospel is open and available to everyone who will care to listen and take advantage of the blessings found therein. My faith carries me through each day, at home and at work. It gives me a solid foundation to ground my decisions as I pray for strength and support. I know where I came from before I was born, why I am here on this earth and I know where I can go after this life if I keep my faith to the end.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day at work when I coach and counsel those with whom I work. My values at work coincide with my values of faith. With prayer, I am able to best assist my family, co-workers, my company and my community. I have assisted with the church's youth organizations and women's organization. I am currently a leader in the Relief Society organization at my church and enjoy serving other families in the Gospel and in my community.
