Hi I'm Ashley

I love cooking, math, and playing games and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am working as an Accounting Specialist while I finish my undergraduate degree in Economics and Music. When I'm not working or studying, I love to read, watch movies, bake and blog about it all!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be and because the gospel brings me happiness. I love the Book of Mormon, Bible, and Doctrine and Covenants. I find peace in living the commandments and going to church. I know that President Monson is the prophet of God leading the world today. I know that I will be alright when I follow his counsel.

How I live my faith

I have many choices to make everyday, but I feel happiest when I choose to follow my Savior. I choose to listen to and watch uplifting media so that I can feel the Spirit of the Lord. I choose to read the scriptures daily so that I can learn more of Christ's teachings and feel peace in a world of turmoil. I choose to go to school to educate myself and gain understanding of the world around me. I choose to live my faith because I am happiest that way.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

I feel the best when I am in control of my body and spirit and not under the influence of a substance. God gave us our bodies as a gift and we are taught to take care of them because they house our spirits. When we abstain from tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, and drugs, we can take control of our life without the chains of addiction on our spirit weighing us down. Show more Show less
