Hi I'm Chandra.

I grew up in Denver. I served a mission in Milan, Italy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two, girl and boy, grandmother of four, 3 boys and one girl. My son is in the military and my daughter is returning to school. We will soon be empty nesters (kinda). We do live with my parents. We moved in to help them out due to health problems for them. I love my parents and would do anything for them. I am so grateful to my husband that he was willing to do this. I love doing ceramics, especially the religious ones. I love the Christ at the Door one that I have and Christ at the Well. I am wanting to do the "Footprints" one. They are all very meaningful to me. I served a full-time mission to the Milan Italy mission and am so excited for a Temple to be going into Italy. My husband and I have been married for almost 32 years and can't wait to be able to serve a mission together. We love going on dates and again and wish we had continued to do this during our earlier years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed and studied the Book of Mormon and have taken the challenge in the Book of Mormon to pray about it and have received an answer that it is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today. I continue to read and study and listen to the words that are given to us today. We have need of modern day prophets. Our Father in Heaven would not leave us here without guidance. We need His Words today as much as the people in the Old and New Testaments. There are so many things going wrong today. I love that the Church teaches that families can be together forever. I want to be with my husband always. I don't want it to end at death. The Plan of Salvation is a wonderful plan. Take the time to listen to the missionaries, to read the Book of Mormon and to pray. I know He will answer your prayers. He has answered many of mine. He lives and loves and guides us today.

How I live my faith

I attend my meetings as often as I can. I have fibromyalgia and find it difficult to sit for any length of time, but I do attend Sacrament meeting each Sunday to partake of the Sacrament. I try to be an example of my faith my loving my neighbors and helping as much as I can. I try to greet each of them with a smile and caring attitude. We are to love our neighbors as ourselves.
