Hi I'm Tabitha

I'm from a small Montana town. I found pleasure in simple things. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm in college studying to be a Biology and/or Spanish teacher. Sometimes I'm a bit granola and ride my bike everywhere. I bike to school and work, and in the summertime I treat myself to rides through a nearby canyon. My friends know we'll talk whenever we run or work out together. Sometimes I'm nerdy and enjoy recalling latin names of nature's bounty, or sputtering through what I remember about scientific concepts. I spent 3 months in Argentina doing biology research last year, and this coming year I will be in Peru serving a full-time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the spirit I feel worshiping with the congregation and the spirit I feel when I read the Book of Mormon (especially Mosiah 4 and 5). These people believe in a Savior so much. I know because I have seen the differences they have made in my life. Angels and miracles are more common when I worship and associate more with the latter day saints. It's because they are an inspired group of people. Inspired by Prophet Monson, God, prayer, and each other. It's really cool! And that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My favorite calling ever is definitely visiting teaching-AKA be a friend to a person somebody else chose for me. One time I taught my visiting teaching assignment (I refer to them as visiting teachees) how to drive stick shift on my old car. I live my faith by lending a hand. This year I'm going to Peru to serve an 18 month mission. Dealing with companions, shortcomings, language barriers, trials of faith, disappointments... Bring it on! I pray that God may help me handle it and bring others to Christ.
