Hi I'm Nate

I love anything new and fun, I love athletics of every kind, and messing around in the great outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to High School in Evanston Wyoming. I went to Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Family Financial Planning and Counseling. I met my beautiful wife, Annette, there and was married in 1994. We had our first daughter, Natasha, in 1996. I was an active duty service member of the U.S. Air Force for six years. I served at Hahn Air Force Base Germany. Our first son, Nathanael was born there. My second assignment was with the University of Utah ROTC. During that time our second son Jacob was born at near by Hill Air Force Base. I separated from service and worked for the State of Wyoming in Economic Development for five years. During that time our last two daughters, Michaela and Anya, in Riverton Wyoming (Where I was born). From there I became an Investment Advisor/Trust Officer and have been doing that up to now. I had been a member of the National Guard during that time and my unit was activated in 2003. I served in Kuwait and Iraq for eight months with an Engineer Group. I found that I could not do both with the type of civilian Job I had so I wasn't able to continue.

Why I am a Mormon

I was inactive and not really involved in church through out high school and a year after graduation because I had no faith in the gospel playing a major part in my happiness or salvation. I eventually found this to not be true at all and discovered through much prayer and study and acting up Heavenly Fathers guidence that this gospel really can make me happy. It has made me truely free so that I do not need any worldly thing to occupy my boredom and fill any void. I'm joyous with my life in the Father's hands now and I am whole, that's why I'm proud to call myself a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings in the scriptures and keeping the commandments. I also follow the guidence of the leaders of the church and I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

A ward is a certain time where people from a certain designated area regurlary meet so the church can stay organized and be able to fulfill the needs of members depending on how many are in attendance. A branch is smaller then a ward and a stake is an area that usually covers more than one ward and building. Show more Show less
