Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am Jessica. I like planning. I like organizing. I like dresses & summer. I like bike rides & winning catch phrase. I am a full time student and full time Office Manager. I like my job & I love my family. I aspire to be an Event planner or work in Marketing when I graduate. One day, I'll be an awesome mom and have a pretty cool family of my own(or so i dream). Right now, I'll continue to walk in faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I answer this question almost daily- either to family members, friends or simply myself. I joined the church just over a year ago. It was the best decision I've made to date. I grew up in a family who didn't really attend church. I started going to church with some friends in the fourth grade. Eventually my parents started attending church as well. I always felt good going to church- however I could always tell something was missing although I never knew what to look for. In May of 2009, I moved to Southern California from Indiana. I left everything I knew and everything familiar to me to start a new adventure. I never knew what this new adventure would hold. Next thing I knew- everyone I knew was LDS. However, it didn't feel strange. It instantly felt like home. It took me a while of going to activities, and investigating but getting baptized was the best decision I could have made. I am Mormon because I know that this is the true and restored Church. I know this because I have a Heavenly Father who knows me by name and I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm to me that it is true. I know that the peace and happiness I have in my life are only made possible through the relationship I have with my Heavenly Father. I am Mormon be

How I live my faith

I live my Faith through works. I love the organization of visiting teaching within the church. I have met a ton of friends through visiting sisters in my Ward and learning their story. Sometimes I get caught up in my busy life and think I don't have time for myself but when we lose ourselves in Service we find ourselves. I love serving in my calling in the Activities committee. I love organizing activities and getting to meet so many great people. I strive to maintain high standards and morals. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - Hebrews 11:1

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Jessica
I have a very strong testimony of successful families being centered on Christ. When I first learned about Christ my parents were going through a divorce. My brother and I started inviting our parents to church with us each week. They started out coming just to spend more time with us but ended up learning about our Savior, Jesus Christ, and striving to live their life in accordance with his will. They reconciled their marriage days before their divorce was final. I know that this was solely due to our Family's new foundation now on Christ. With a family whose members are striving to live like Christ and with a common goal to do so with stay together. Although you can never know all things- having faith in Christ and God as well as faith in your other family members is a strong bond that in unbreakable. Show more Show less
